The Second Invasion

"We must strengthen the barriers again," Bryn reminded Jace, who looked up from sharpening his sword.

"The barriers? Oh, Fallera, Selena and I went out to do that earlier. It should hold up fine now." He gave her a little smile that seemed to be a peace offering. Bryn was a proud person, but she had enough sense in her to take it.

"Good." There was an awkward silence.

"So, been hunting lately?" Jace asked conversationally, breaking the quiet.

"Yeah. With Lily, Martin, and Brandon, actually. The two apprentice's are very good with their techniques... do you think they should be made warriors soon? Joey, too," Bryn suddenly broke out in conversation, surprising herself with how easily she could fall back into her casual friendship with her half-brother and deputy.

"That's a --" Jace was cut off by Terra running into camp with Selena and Cynthia coming behind her.
"The barrier's been broken! Monster invasion!" Terra was screaming, and Selena was looking rather annoyed at the daughter of Aphrodite's incessant shrieking.

"For Zeus' sake, Terra! Shut up!" The other blond finally snapped, and sprinted to Bryn. "Reporting, Captain. Monsters on the territory."

Bryn narrowed her eyes. "Jace, you know the protocol. Alert the campers, keep the younger children in the most fortified cabins. Get Ivy ready to roll."

She unsheathed her katana and glanced at Selena. "Come with me, Sel." The Captain ran out of camp to find exactly where the monsters were... only to run straight into a monster. She stared up at it for a second before she realized what it was, just after Selena had.

"They're Thracian Giants, Bryn! Get back! Back!" Selena's bow and arrows were already out and aimed at the Giants. One, two, three arrows shot towards them. They imbedded themselves into the giants' flesh, but their skin was so thick that two of them, after a bit of shaking, simply fell out.
Bryn flung her dagger at one, and it staggered, before releasing a might roar, charging at the Captain who looked tiny next to the massive creature. "I THOUGHT YOU STRENGTHENED THE BARRIER, ETERNAL!" She bellowed in her anger.

"So did I!" Came the replying yell, and Bryn scowled in her deputy's direction before raising her katana against a heavy blow.

Fallera and Jace were fighting back-to-back. She stabbed a giant in its huge, fleshy thigh before turning her head slightly and grinning at Jace, remembering the first time she realized she loved him. "Good times!" She smirked, before flicking a shuriken over her shoulder and hitting the giant that was about to club her boyfriend right between the eyes. "You're welcome."

Justice exchanged looks with Spencer before racing out with his partner-in-crime. Damon was left behind, and he abandoned the food in the Dining Pavilion before dashing out as well with his sword and shield. Justice cast an eye-bleeding curse on the giant before him and spotted the daughter of Aphrodite they were supposed to prank nearby, rummaging around in her little pink purse. He almost rolled his eyes. Of course she would do that. But then, with surprise, he saw that she pulled out an entire suit of hot pink armor, which automatically appeared on her body. Her purse transformed into a slingshot of the same shade of pink, and the bracelet she wore was uncovered by the mist to reveal a chain of glowing silver stones. Terra gracefully shot two at the horde of giants, knocking an entire giant down with just two stones. Well. That was not what he expected. He opened his mouth to say something to Spencer before he was distracted once more by the furious, bleeding-from-the-eyes giant throwing something that looked like a large boulder at him. Cursing loudly, Justice raised his hands to deflect it.

it's not jace's fault, by the way. there's something wrong with the barrier itself that they'll have to fix later on.)

Captain: Bryn Reedwing

Bryn is a beautiful but harsh 14-year-old with dark brown hair, amber eyes, and a slender but curvaceous figure. She is fierce, stubborn, and cruel to those who she doesn't trust, but can be loyal and protective of her friends. She might look delicate and slim with her lithe features but Bryn is surprisingly strong, both physically and mentally. Not many people mess with her- she's logical, cunning, and willing to put her life in danger for a good cause. Bryn is also perceptive, observant and intelligent.However fierce she may seem, she is extremely protective and loves her close friends. Bryn is vicious with a dagger or stygian iron katana, and is close to her father Hades (she hates anyone who hates him). Parent: Hades

Second In Command: Jace Eternal

Average-height 14-year-old with messy black hair and deep green eyes. Jace tends to be modest from time to time, but will never give up, especially not when someone tells him to. In fact, that only makes him try harder. Jace is courageous, the type who will never let his side down. Though stubborn and fierce, Jace is a powerful demigod that will fight in any condition. He fights mainly with his Stygian iron sword, but since Fallera had given him a silver knife, he also fights with it in battle. For target practice, Jace can be seen throwing the silver knife to the target, considering he can't be seen with a bow and arrow. He is Bryn's half-brother. Parent: Hades

Selena Swift - Head Warrior

Beautiful 14 year old with long, silky blond hair, intelligent olive green eyes, and even, pale skin. Has a slender build. Friendly, kind, and incredibly smart. She loves to sing, write poems, and she has a very logical mind. Selena may be nice, but she is a warrior not to be reckoned with in battle. Her archery skills are the best in the camp, and she can do magic (literally) with her twin daggers. Selena is the only person that Bryn is relatively nicer to, even if they are rivals in battle. The two girls are both loyal to their camps, however, and show no quarter to each other (or anyone else) in battle. Selena is also outgoing and very bright. Parent: Athena

Fallera Flight - Warrior

Fallera is a 14 year old girl with long, black hair and pitch black eyes. She is quiet, cunning, observant, and mysterious. Barely anybody knows who she really is. When angered or annoyed, fierce, unstoppable, and brutal. She is only kind to those that she trusts, who is not many. Her favorite weapons are the katana, longsword, and the dirk. Her main weapon is a celestial bronze, steel, and stygian iron 2 and a half foot longsword. Fallera is the daughter of Nyx, the goddess of night. She hates that people don't notice how powerful Nyx is and that they made her sound like a minor goddess.

Justice Mattel - Warrior

13 year old son of Hecate with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He's friendly, charming, and generally nice to people, but if you are his enemy you had better watch out. You would think he was a child of Hermes if he didn't look so much like his mother, except for the hazel eyes that he got from his father. He loves to pull pranks, joke around, and absolutely terrorize his enemies (and crushes) with his tricks and spells. He is talented with his charms and spells, often using magic to get his way. Justice is also gifted at manipulating the Mist to his will.

Isabel (Terra) Liliaane - Warrior

Terra is a 14 year old girl with long, wavy blond hair that tumbles down her back like a cascading waterfall and deep, beautiful indigo eyes that most boys sink into. She looks exactly like Aphrodite, every single look on her body is the exact same as her mother. She is, of course, beautiful then, and obviously cares about it. She is friendly, flirty, gossipy, and slightly creepy. Terra's special talents involve manipulating the Mist, changing her appearance, manipulating emotions, and, of course, matchmaking. She is drawn to strong feelings because of her mother, and is especially drawn to feelings of love, which is how she got to Camp Demigod. Terra might be pretty and a total "Aphrodite", but she can definitely fight like Ares can. (After all, she was blessed to be a good fighter by him). Her main weapon is a light, easy-to-handle but deadly sword that transforms into a tube of lip gloss. She also uses a shield that is disguised as a ring on her finger, a celestial bronze dagger, and a bunch of explosive nail polish bottles that are pretty useful when it comes to monsters and escapes. Terra is her mother's favorite daughter, so she has this fatal flaw: vanity. She hates it when people are called pretty when she is not called it, and she hates it when others don't acknowledge her beauty while they acknowledge somebody else's. Either way, Terra is still a powerful demigod.

Brandon Key - Apprentice

Blond 8-year-old with crystal blue eyes. Brandon regards people indifferently, showing a bit of his bratty side. He argues with his older sister a lot, still discouraged by the fact that he was born after Joey. Although he ignores many people, he can be kind, but very rarely. As expected, Brandon trains at the Arena most of the time, practicing with fierce eyes, possibly remembering the fact that the rest of the family abandoned him and his sister. He fights with an obsidian sword, ignoring the original weapon his father uses.
